Flag Pillow

July 4th 2014...finally made my Flag Pillow for my front porch.

For less the $15 and the help of my Brother Sewing Machine two pillows were made.
PB was my inspiration and for half the price.

Bought a standard size pillow (under $3), cut the pillow in half (to make two).
Bought fabric (50% off Outdoor Canvas-total cost under $11).
Cut a few straight lines and sewed the material together -
Bang..two flags and a happy camper :) Weather proof pillows and proud.

Pops and a Smile

Father's Day is approaching soon and this year the theme is Pops and a Smile :)

Dad's favorite drink is Coke and of course a home cooked BBQ.
The grill will be smokin' & cookin' and all will be washed down with an ice cold Coke.
So that got me thinking on how to decorate...the idea was to easy and I started designing right away.

Coca Cola themed Father's Day decor.
We have several Dad's young and old to celebrate and adore. The desserts will be his/their favorites as a mini buffet with cupcake toppers and wrappers. Back yard will have center pieces telling Dad how special he is. Mini Flags will be on appetizers saying why we love him.

And of course Red Stripped Paper Straws for the Coke's to drink!

Christmas in July

Every year I like to have a style or theme for my Christmas gifts.
This year I have decided to do a "repeat". Brown Paper and Brown Bags...
the fun and decorations come from the bows, tags, and ornaments you decide to add dress it up with.
Home Depot sells a large roll of Brown Paper
for about $10 used for construction...but I will be using it for gift wrapping!
This will last for the year of 2014 and for large packages.

To share my joy and excitement for Christmas in July, please enjoy these FREE Printables!
They are great for baked goods, Secret Santas, gifts and much more
